Job Description
Job Description:
Under general supervision, completes assigned work and delivers customer satisfaction as well as profit growth for the company. Responsible for installing and/or servicing products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Familiar with Flat Rate Pricing
- Ablity to egage with Customers and discuss options
- Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines
- Able to solder and braze refrigerant systems, evacuate systems by procedure, and charge R-22 and R-410a systems by both super heat and sub cooling
- Wire in control systems
- Possess general knowledge of oil furnaces and be able to clean and service boilers
- Troubleshoot and repair defrost cycle and refrigerant cycle problems
- Configure variable speed systems for dehumidification and heat staging
- Complete paperwork and submit in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician with primarily residential and some light commercial customers
- High School diploma/GED is required
- EPA Universal certification is required; NATE and or Journeyman Mech certification is preferred
- Owns the appropriate hand tools, gauges, and meters
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening
