Job Description

Job Description:

Under general supervision, completes assigned work and delivers customer satisfaction as well as profit growth for the company.  Responsible for installing and/or servicing products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Familiar with Flat Rate Pricing
• Ablity to egage with Customers and discuss options
• Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines
• Able to solder and braze refrigerant systems, evacuate systems by procedure, and charge R-22 and R-410a systems by both super heat and sub cooling
• Wire in control systems
• Possess general knowledge of oil furnaces and be able to clean and service boilers
• Troubleshoot and repair defrost cycle and refrigerant cycle problems
• Configure variable speed systems for dehumidification and heat staging
• Complete paperwork and submit in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician with primarily residential and some light commercial customers
• High School diploma/GED is required
• EPA Universal certification is required; NATE and or Journeyman Mech certification is preferred
• Owns the appropriate hand tools, gauges, and meters
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening
